For the first time in over a decade, Iron Heart is offering another run of their baker pants. This style draws inspiration from the military fatigue/utility pants worn by U.S. troops in the 1950s, offering a wider, more relaxed fit and higher rise. In Japan, these are referred to as ābakerā pants, as their defining square patch pockets resemble loaves of bread.
This model is made from 10oz back sateen cloth ā an authentic military fabric woven with double yarn for a stiffer, crispier feel, and sulphur-dyed to allow the colour to mellow and fade with vintage character. Other key features include flap-down rear pockets with secure button fastenings, a brass zipper fly, and rear waist cinches ā allowing the fit to be adjusted without a belt.
